Responsibilities
The County Administrator works closely with all County departments to implement policies as directed by
the
Board of
County Commissioners and to monitor the cost-effectiveness of operations. The Administrator also
coordinates
meetings of
the Board of County Commissioners. As the chief administrative officer of the County, the Administrator
is
responsible
for the effective administration of all governmental affairs of the County that legally may be placed in
the
Administrator's charge. The Administrator shall implement and enforce ordinances, policies, rules, and
regulations
adopted by the Board of County Commissioners.
