Public Health Emergency Preparedness & Response Coordinator

Cheyenne County Public Health is accepting applications for a part time coordinator for the Emergency Preparedness and Response program. Duties to include: maintaining grant compliance, attending trainings and work collaboratively with Regional Preparedness Coordinator to ensure all deliverables are met for County. Starting rate of pay is based on experience and qualifications. This position is subject to continued grant funding and must operate according to policies established by the State Board of Health and Local Board of Public Health. Position has a flexible schedule working 20 hours/week and does not offer a benefit package. Road & Bridge District #3 Equipment Operator

Cheyenne County Road & Bridge District #3 in Arapahoe is accepting applications for a full-time equipment operator. Position is 40 hours/week, $13.25/hour (with a CDL) and $11.90 (without a CDL) with step increases after 3 months and also 2 years. Benefit package to include health insurance after 2 months and paid time off and mandatory retirement after 3 months. CDL and heavy equipment experience preferred. Must pass a drug test before beginning employment, and then be placed on random drug/alcohol screening if hired. Child Welfare/Adult Protection Caseworker

Cheyenne County, Colorado is currently accepting applications and resumes for a part-time Child Welfare and Adult Protection Caseworker. This position does not have a benefit package. Responsibilities: Performs case management activities, assesses individual and family needs, develops appropriate services and/or treatment plan, referrals and placement services and any other duties assigned. Receives reports of abuse/neglect, conducts investigation/assessment and provides ongoing case management for voluntary and court ordered cases. Minimum Qualifications: Baccalaureate Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or a closely related field to be approved by Colorado Department of Human Services. Experience with child development, evaluation and assessment is a plus. A valid Colorado driver's license and criminal background check is required. Starting salary based on experience.
