Assistant for Prevention Program Activities
Cheyenne County Public Health has an immediate opening and is accepting applications for a part time assistant for Prevention Program Activities. Duties to include: assisting with continued implementation and support of the Sources of Strength program as well as other prevention programs in Cheyenne County. Starting rate of pay is based on experience and qualifications. This position is subject to continued grant funding and must operate according to policies established by the Health Department and Board of County Commissioners. Position has a flexible schedule working 18-24 hours/week and does not offer a benefit package. Child Welfare/Adult Protection Caseworker
Cheyenne County, Colorado is currently accepting applications and resumes for a part-time Child Welfare and Adult Protection Caseworker. This position does not have a benefit package. Responsibilities: Performs case management activities, assesses individual and family needs, develops appropriate services and/or treatment plan, referrals and placement services and any other duties assigned. Receives reports of abuse/neglect, conducts investigation/assessment and provides ongoing case management for voluntary and court ordered cases. Minimum Qualifications: Baccalaureate Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or a closely related field to be approved by Colorado Department of Human Services. Experience with child development, evaluation and assessment is a plus. A valid Colorado driver's license and criminal background check is required. Starting salary based on experience.
